The International Academy of Myodontics
has discarded the terms TMJ/TMJD and replaced them with the synonym MMD Mandible Malposture Disorder a specific description of painful conditions and the Academy has also discarded all ancient single splint TMJ therapy and replaced it with a pair of TMJ Wedges.

To: myodont@ComCAT.COMDear Dr. Cooperman,
I am 57 year old male who had been suffering terrible tooth and ear pain. My dentist informed me that there was nothing wrong with my teeth, and the family physician stated that I didn't have an infection and suggested I might have TMJ.
Last Friday when the pain was especially bad, I got on the internet and stumbled upon the Myodontic home page. Thank God I found it. I tried the "teeth-jaw position to cure TMJ pain" and in about ten minutes the pain was reduced about 75 percent, and after another ten minutes of doing the exercise in was about 95 percent gone. Today, six days later, it has not returned (I do the exercise regularly).
I would like to purchase the tooth-wedge noted in the literature. Please advise the procedure for this. Thanks very much.Best Regards,
George J. Bryjak
